Odds and Ends...

First, a huge thank you and congratulations to Erin M, who put together an amazing fundraiser for The SAMFund at the Winthrop Yacht Club this weekend. More photos and details to follow next week!

Next, congratulations to Leah on completing her first 5K! Leah posted the following to everyone who supported her in her journey:

It is with great excitement that I announce--- I DID IT! Despite feeling run-down, I ran my first 5K---(3.1 mi)! It was not a fast race, but I finished. My time was 39 minutes 26 seconds. Thank you to everyone who cheered me on and supported this fundraiser for The SAMFund. The money raised from this will help young adult cancer survivors pay for things like health insurance, rent, and educational fees during a time of financial need. To those of you helped me raise money for this incredible gift---I thank you!

P.S. the crazy running outfit and striped tights was in keeping with many of the costumes at the event. I looked tame compared to the running zombies, Oompa Loompas and witches. :)
